Principal & APA Sports Physiotherapist
Mark is one of the most experienced Sports Physiotherapists working here in the Sutherland Shire. He graduated from The Queens College, Glasgow, Scotland in 1990 before immigrating to Sydney in 1992.
Mark has exclusively worked in private practice since; and has widespread sports experience having worked across a range of sports at various World Championships, World Masters Games, International, National and State competitions, as well as the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. Having recently completed his Masters Degree in Sports Physiotherapy through La Trobe University, Melbourne, Mark has been officially recognised by the Australian Physiotherapy Association as a Sports Physiotherapist.
Mark has been consultant Physiotherapist to Endeavour Sports High School for nearly 20 years and witnessed pupils moving on to becoming Olympic athletes, Test cricketers, professional Soccer, Rugby League and Union players. He is also heavily involved in rugby union having worked with the Emerging NSW Waratahs and Australian Rugby Union Academy, as well as over a decade as Head Physiotherapist to Southern Districts Rugby Club.
Paul joined Southern Districts Sports Physiotherapy in December 2014. Paul graduated from the University of Sydney in 2013 with a Masters of Physiotherapy after previously completing a Bachelor of Exercise Science. Paul is a current member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
Since graduating, Paul went straight into working in private practice. In 2014 Paul was the physiotherapist for Cronulla Sharks Junior Rugby League Harold Matthew's and SG Ball teams, as well as De La Salle's 1st Grade rugby league physiotherapist. In 2015 Paul will be the physiotherapist for the Southern Districts Union Colts teams.
Outside of physiotherapy Paul enjoys a wide variety of sports with his main interest lying in soccer, cricket and weightlifting.
Alice Brown joined the team at Southern Districts Sports Physio in February 2015 and has proven to be a great asset to the clinic.
Alice holds a Master of Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney and has previously completed a degree in Health and Movement Science. During her time studying, Alice gained valuable experience in providing physiotherapy for netballers at both representative and international levels.
Alice comes from a strong sporting background, and has been a keen netballer herself for the past 10 years, representing her home town of Grafton and playing in State League for University of Sydney. Alice is also an accomplished Pilates Instructor.
