Mark Edgar

APA Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist

Mark is one of the most experienced Sports Physiotherapists working here in the Sutherland Shire. He graduated from The Queens College, Glasgow, Scotland in 1990 before immigrating to Sydney in 1992.

Mark has exclusively worked in private practice since; and has widespread sports experience having worked across a range of sports at various World Championships, World Masters Games, International, National and State competitions, as well as the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. He has completed his Masters Degree in Sports Physiotherapy through La Trobe University, Melbourne. Mark has been officially recognised by the Australian Physiotherapy Association as a Sports Physiotherapist.

Mark has been consultant Physiotherapist to Endeavour Sports High School for nearly 20 years and has witnessed pupils moving on to becoming Olympic athletes, Test cricketers, professional Soccer, Rugby League and Union players. He is also heavily involved in rugby union having worked with the Australian Womens 7s team, Emerging NSW Waratahs and Australian Rugby Union Academy, as well as over a decade as Head Physiotherapist to Southern Districts Rugby Club. .

Jonathon Craig-Dobson

APA Physiotherapist

M.Physio, B.Sc (Exercise Physiology)

Jonath0n completed a Bachelor of Exercise Physiology at the University of New South Wales in 2017. This led him to completing a Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Technology Sydney in 2019.

Since graduating Jonathon has been working in private practice and developing a keen interest in Sports Physiotherapy; particularly working with athletes, helping them with their rehabilitation goals. He has worked with several sporting teams competing in the following competitions NPL1 Soccer, NSW Premier Grade Cricket and Sydney AFL.

Proudly coming from a rural upbringing, Jono prides himself on his ability to develop a longstanding rapport with his clients. Jono has equipped himself with well-developed communication and team work skills, with an emphasis on openness and honesty. These skills are the base to provide a holistic treatment approach for his patients helping them achieve their goals through a balance of individual treatment, exercise and manual therapy.

Outside of work, Jonathon is a keen cricketer representing St George District Cricket Club in NSW Premier Cricket.

Kim Johnson

Massage Therapist

Kim is a qualified Remedial Massage therapist with a huge amount of experience with both general population and elite sport. Kim is currently the in-house therapist for Australian Rugby 7s helping them to prepare for the upcoming Olympics. She is also in-house therapist for the Cronulla Sharks, South Sydney, Rabbitohs, Queensland State of Origin and Southern Districts Rugby Union. Australia, NZ, Samoa and Fiji NRL teams are also massaged by Kim. We are very lucky to have someone of Kim’s experience working out of Southern Districts Sports Physiotherapy.

Nicole Robertson

Massage Therapist

Coming from a competitive sporting background from a young age, Nicole developed a passion for the human body and movement. After completing studies in Fitness and Strength & Conditioning she developed a keen interest in helping others improve their quality of life through movement. Being involved in the fitness industry for a number of years, she found herself wanting to explore the beauty of anatomy more in-depth and completed her Diploma in Remedial & Sports Massage.

She has a keen interest in injury prevention and rehabilitation, as well as the recovery aid and performance of athletes. She has a first-hand understanding of how important it is to ensure to look after your body with regular treatments to ensure the risk of injury is diminished, as well as gaining the knowledge to sustain an active lifestyle confidently.

Nicole has had the privilege to work with multiple NRL, Rugby Union, Cricket, Muay Thai and CrossFit athletes with pre/post training, competitions and recovery.

She tailors each treatment to the individual’s needs to ensure the best possible outcome for each client, using modalities including soft tissue work, cupping, taping, IASTM and joint mobilisation

Nicole is currently completing a Bachelor of Health Science (Myotherapy)

Emma Robertson

Registered Dietitian and Nutritionist

Alongside private practice Emma has worked as a Health Coach on various private and government run programs, helping clients with all manner of health goals, from quitting smoking, to managing stress. Emma has dedicated all her professional development budget to being more and more helpful to people with eating disorders, and people who want an alternative to dieting. She is also the founder of Nutrition Training Australia, who provide professional development courses and nutrition resources for the fitness industry. Emma graduated with a B.Science (Pharmacology) and Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Sydney, and is registered with the following organisations: Dietitian’s Association of Australia Department of Veterans affairs and is both medicare registered as well as registered with all Health Funds:
